Helping to make your budget go further

I've been designing and installing kitchens since 2001. But I understand that customers sometimes prefer buying from a big brand like Wren or Wickes in-store, where there are lots of displays, finance options, and video walk-through presentations.
However, the installation costs often take customers by surprise. And this is where I can help. If you purchase your kitchen for delivery only, I can offer a professional fitting service, which could save you thousands of pounds.
You get the same skilled tradespeople and high-quality installation (I'm a Wickes-approved installer), but the money you’ll save can go towards better appliances, new flooring, or into the savings pot for another day.

How it works

You can purchase a kitchen directly from any major kitchen store and use their design and planning service. The store can also quote for fitting, and they’ll use qualified kitchen fitters like me to carry out the work. However, many customers find it costs less to deal directly.
In this case, all you need to do is get in touch with me to discuss your requirements. I can manage kitchen unit and appliance installation, lighting, tiling, and flooring, or add or remove walls or partitions to suit your new kitchen design.
Your kitchen manufacturer's guarantee is still valid, and I provide a 12-month warranty on the fitting.
We can tie the installation date to the kitchen delivery so everything happens seamlessly. Would you like a quote?

FAQ

  • There is no advantage to having your kitchen installation managed by the store. Stores such as Wren and Wicks use subcontractors to carry out installations anyway. So, in practice, it’s much easier to deal directly with the people who are carrying out the installation rather than trying to organise everything with an in-store project manager.

  • Not at all. This is because your kitchen warranty covers manufacturing defects, which are not affected by the installation.

  • Yes, I'm an approved Wickes kitchen fitter.

  • Yes, I offer a 12-month warranty against any defects or shortfalls arising from installation errors.

  • Yes, I’ll organise the plumbing and electrics, including re-routing pipes and electrical sockets if required.

  • I can either manage the tiling or ensure the walls are left ready for tiling.

  • I can quote for kitchen removal and disposal if needed.

  • I’ll need a copy of the CAD drawings or specifications to gauge the scope of the installation. I may also need a home visit to check the plumbing and electrical requirements.
